Central Director of Finance, Investor Relations, Insurance and Asset Management, FS Group.

Born in Rome on January 23, 1965. Graduated with honors in Economics and Commerce with a specialization in Corporate Finance in 1988.

He is Member of the Register of Auditors since 25 November 1999. Enrolled in the Register of Financial Advisors since 31 August 1998.

He began his career in 1988 in Alitalia SpA within the Finance Department, dealing with capital markets and financial risks.

He then joined Cofiri Sim where he held the position of Head of the Corporate Desk since 1992 and then became Head of Business Development of the holding company Cofiri SpA in March, 2000, promoting the entire portfolio of Cofiri Group’s financial products to institutional customers represented by the most important Italian industrial companies.

In 2003 he joined Ferrovie dello Stato SpA as Head of Financial Markets and his arrival coincided with the start of the High Speed season for which he was called to find the financial resources necessary to carry out the country’s most important transport project.

In 2008 he became Head of Finance for the FS Group and during this period he implemented the Group’s financial development by carrying out – among the most important initiatives: the EMTN Programme, obtaining the rating, the first Green Bond for the purchase of rolling stock as well as the first loan granted to an Italian company according to the Junker Plan.

Between 2013 and 2016 he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurofer, the Negotiation Pension Fund for railway workers and Anas.

He is also Managing Director of Fercredit; Vice President of Eurofima (Sovereign Financing Body for European Railway Companies); Member of the Board of Directors of M5 (Special Purpose Vehicle that manages the PPP initiative for the “Metro 5” of the Milan Metro) and Chairman of its Finance Committee.
