Stefano Mantella
General Director of the “Enhancement of Public Assets” Directorate within the Department of Economy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance
Since May 2024, Lawyer Stefano Mantella has held the position of General Director of the “Enhancement of Public Assets” Directorate within the Department of Economy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He is responsible for policies related to the enhancement of public real estate and concession assets, as well as the management of databases created through the census of real estate, participations, and concessions of state-owned assets and services.
From 2021 to 2024, he was Head of the Mission Unit for the implementation of PNRR interventions at the Ministry of Tourism. From 2011 to 2022, he served as General Manager of the Staff Directorate “Strategies, Development Projects, and Implementation of Federalism” at the State Property Agency. From 2010 to 2011, he worked as a Senior Associate at the affiliated tax law firm DLA Piper, where he primarily focused on real estate finance operations. From 2008 to 2010, he was a Consultant for SICOT s.r.l. – Consulting Systems for the Treasury, supporting the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the enhancement of public assets and property.
