Giovanna Manzi was born in Naples in 1967. She has been Chief Executive Officer for Best Western Italia since 2004.

She grows up in Assisi and graduates in Economics & Business from the University of Perugia.  Her career in hospitality begins in the USA. After moving back to Italy, she joins Best Western as Marketing Manager and right-hand woman of the CEO. Her next working experiences take place in Amadeus and Travelonline, the first Italian b2c portal for Tourism.

In 2004 the President of Best Western calls her back and appoints her CEO at the age of 37. In this role, she guides Best Western’s delicate shift from a hotel group to a more structured Hotel Chain and strengthens its position as leader in the hospitality sector.
