Mr. Francesco Polastri serves UniCredit in the role of Head of Group Real Estate Portfolio & Transaction. He is responsible for managing Group’s Pan-European real estate portfolio, while exerting governance functions over a +15 countries’ perimeter and providing strategic consulting about the management and execution of investment/divestment operations.

Moreover, Mr. Polastri is a member of the Board of Directors of UniCredit Pension Fund. Over the years, he was appointed as member of several advisory committees for different Italian Real Estate Funds, also listed, and managed by COIMA Sgr, Dea Capital Sgr, Generali Sgr, Prelios Sgr.

Recently, he became member of the Real Estate Advisory committee, established through the joint effort of the UN (United Nations) and the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) to define high-level guidelines to foster the full integration of ESG principles within the Real Estate Sector.

Mr. Polastri’ s managerial journey begun in the early 2000s and has brought him to cover different roles in diverse working contexts from the strategic consulting to the institutional asset management, and to the private equity investment.

Francesco has achieved a master’s degree in Architecture at the Politecnico of Torino and a post-graduate master’s degree in Corporate Finance at the School of Management-SDA Bocconi of Milano.
