Alessandro Mazzanti is CEO of CBRE Italy. In 1999 he took the lead of Insignia’s Italian office, focusing on Investment activities. In 2004 he became CEO of CBRE Italy, following the acquisition of Insignia by CBRE. In 2008, the Group announced the acquisition of Espansione Commerciale (today known as CBRE S.r.l.), an Italian market leader in providing leasing and property management services for shopping centres, retail and entertainment parks. This acquisition expanded the range of retail services provided by CBRE at international level and enabled the Group to achieve a position of leadership in providing retail services in Italy, which is now considered the fourth largest European market in the sector. Alessandro currently oversees a team of over 350 professionals across Italy (Milan, Rome, Modena and Turin).

Between 2010 and 2018 he has been a member of the EMEA Board, which coordinated all activities of the Group in the EMEA region (which became EMEA/APAC in 2018). He personally has executed transactions for over 10 billion Euro, providing consultancy services in the real estate sector at international level and acting as advisor to major CBRE sale and purchase transactions involving Italian and international organizations.
