Valerio Fonseca was born at Grottaglie in 1979; he graduated in Business Management from the Bocconi University in 2003. He immediately started his professional career gaining significant experience in the private equity sector. From 2004 to 2008, he was a manager in Tamburi Investment Partners S.p.A., an independent investment-merchant bank focused on medium-sized Italian companies and listed on the Borsa Italiana. From 2008 to 2010, he was an associate in Ambienta SGR S.p.A., a leading company in Europe in the management of private equity funds with a focus on the environmental sector.

In 2007, he founded Reale Gest S.r.l., now DoveVivo S.p.A. In 2010, he left private equity to spend all his time on his company where he is currently CEO. In 2018, he joined the Endeavor Italia network, an international organisation that supports high potential businesspeople around the world and promotes the economic growth of scale-ups giving access to global markets, talent development programmes and capital.
